• A sack full of really rotten tomatoes for people who throw smouldering cigarette butts on severely parched grass. On July 11th, we came across a smouldering cigarette in the grass verge outside our condo complex. Thank goodness my son looked down just then and quickly took care of it. I've witnessed smokers here toss their butts on the ground many times, but during a heat wave is just ridiculous! It only takes a spark to get a fire going.

• A huge pile of rancid and rotten tomatoes to homeowners that think that they can get away with building illegal additions to the back of their single-family home, doing it without getting ÐÔÊӽ紫ý building permits and not up to building code.

• Many vehicles of rotten tomatoes for the lack of traffic planning due to the SkyTrain construction in Fleetwood. The side streets are plugged with vehicles trying to avoid the chaos on Fraser Highway. Someone needs to be held accountable for ruining our neighbourhood. Just think, four years or more of this.

• A cruise ship of rotten tomatoes to the old gent and his two grand kids in a blue VW golf, who sped up around the round a bout on 116 Street and 82 Avenue while people were crossing. We were all in the middle of the crosswalk when we saw him sped up at us. He was unfazed and carried on driving — no sorry, oops, nothing. Please re-examine these poor drivers every year. As drivers, you do not have the right of way!

• Rotten tomatoes to home builders who build family townhomes and condos where children can fall out the windows. Many children have fallen from these windows.

• Rotten tomatoes to rude people. If someone lets you merge, a  little wave would be considerate. It’s OK to say "thank you," "please," "excuse me," "hello," or "How are you?"  It doesn’t take much, and it’s free. It’s also common courtesy. Teach your children the same.

• Rotten tomatoes to rude people on the road. Please stop tailgating and causing unnecessary accidents. If you’re late, leave earlier. Don’t put other people in danger and ruin the day. There are laws in place. It’s not the Mission Raceway or a competition. Slow down and follow the speed limit. You’re not an exception. When you do get into an accident, pull over to the right. Don't just stop right in the middle of traffic.

• Rotten tomatoes to the lady and her cohort on a recent Saturday at the Newton Fruiticana. Learn to speak to people. You didn’t need to be so rude when I’m politely asking a question.  We all live in the same community. Try to be a bit more civil.  It will go a long way. No one deserves a bad attitude. When will people start using their heads instead of their eyes and mouths.
