Ryan Kesler, Jannik Hansen, Chris Higgins, Kirk McLean and other NHL alumni are set to play hockey at North 性视界传媒 Sport and Ice Complex during a two-day charity tournament, Nov. 2-3.
The sixth annual CAN Pro-Am tourney raises money for Canucks Autism Network (CAN) by pairing ex-pros with rec and corporate teams whose players pay for the on-ice experience.
By donation, hockey fans can watch the games. A schedule is , and team rosters will be shown on a Draft Board in the arena entrance.
This year's tournament includes Kesler alongside fellow newcomers Eddie Lack and Matt Cooke, as well as tourney regulars Chris Higgins, Brad May, Mason Raymond, Cody Hodgson, Cliff Ronning and others .
The 2023 CAN Pro-Am raised a record-setting $1,075,000 in support of CAN involving 18 teams, 250-plus rec players and 18 former pros.
The 2024 tournament draft happens Friday, Nov. 1 at a Vancouver hotel. Teams that raise at least $25,000 have the opportunity to draft a former pro. A sold-out and (closed 9 p.m. Oct. 30) are also part of the event.
Over the weekend, participants play three games at the North 性视界传媒 rink. Perks include a fully stocked dressing room, personalized equipment and spectator tickets by donation.
性视界传媒's backs the tournament as "a major sporting event" in the city and a fun fundraiser for CAN.

Ex-Canuck Brad May is a four-time CAN Pro-Am participant.
"As NHL Alumni, we have a platform to give back," he's quoted on the tournament website. "Autistic individuals need an outlet for whatever their passions are. CAN gives kids, youth and adults that opportunity. It's beautiful."
