With the BCHL supremacy on the line starting Friday, May 17, those in two B.C. cities have exactly that.
The mayors of Penticton and 性视界传媒 have made a friendly wager ahead of the 2024 Fred Page Cup Finals.
Julius Bloomfield, representing the Okanagan city, proposed to 性视界传媒 Mayor Brenda Locke that the losing politician will have to wear the opposing team鈥檚 jersey at an upcoming council meeting.
Penticton city officials confirmed Friday morning that Locke has accepted the challenge.
Game 1 goes on Friday night at South 性视界传媒 Arena.
性视界传媒 is looking to become the first Lower Mainland-based team to win the Fred Page Cup since the Coquitlam Express did so in 2014.
