Editor,
While the BC Liberals will be remembered for selling off the land for what was to be ÐÔÊӽ紫ý’s second hospital and tolling both the then new Port Mann and Golden Ears bridges, it’s time to ask the NDP: What have you done for me lately?
Elected in 2017, the NDP pledged to eliminate the then 250 school portables; today we have 360. While they are currently building a second hospital, it will not be operational until 2030 and is grossly undersized. So much so that the NDP have recently with suspicious pre-election timing, announced a second tower addition at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Memorial Hospital. But there is no plan, no timeline and no budget for this addition. It is at least a decade away.
Let’s make whoever forms government this October earn our 10 MLA seats.
