Chilliwack school district won’t be renewing six leases for daycare businesses that run in old school sites so those classrooms can be used in the new year.
3. Vancouver Port Authority says it won’t be deepening the Fraser River
Through an analysis, the port found costs, extensive environmental studies and consultations too big of barriers in deepening the river.

A court ruling earlier this month rejected an injunction by the City of Vancouver for a homeless camp there, and homeless activitsts believe it’s strengethed their fight to stay.
