After stunning the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in Game 7 of the playoffs’ third round, the Penticton Vees are set to hit the road and visit the ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Eagles in the Fred Page Cup finals.
The series – which begins May 17 at the South ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Arena – marks a BCHL Finals rematch from 2013.

League officials on May 16 announced the series’ schedule, after the Vees eliminated the Silverbacks and the Eagles topped the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in seven games.

ÐÔÊӽ紫ý (44-8-2-0) finished the 2023-24 regular season with the best record in the BCHL.
Penticton (38-10-3-3), meanwhile, stood atop the Interior Conference’s regular-season standings for the 12th year in a row.
The Vees are looking to become the first team in 13 years to win three straight BCHL titles.
East of B.C., the Brooks Bandits and Sherwood Park Crusaders are currently battling for the Alberta Cup.
The winner of that trophy will play the Fred Page Cup champion in the first-ever Rocky Mountain Challenge, from May 31 to June 2.
