Cohen Hocking of North Delta added a silver medal to the gold he earned four days earlier at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax.
Hocking, 18, won two of his three judo matches Sunday morning, helping B.C. to a second place finish in the team competition.
Competing in the 66 kg. class, Hocking stopped Wiley Tait in the quarterfinal round, helping B.C. to a 30-20 victory over Alberta. He was a winner again in the semifinal, upending Marcus Mason in another 30-20 victory by Team B.C., this time over New Brunswick.
In the gold medal match, Hocking was defeated by Michael Fortin Demers of Quebec in B.C.鈥檚 30-15 loss.
Last week, Hocking won four consecutive matches to take the gold in individual competition.
n Eric Hsu, 18, of South 性视界传媒 earned a bronze medal in the badminton team event which concluded Saturday.
Team B.C. was grouped with New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador in the first round, advancing with a pair of 5-0 victories, with Hsu teaming with Vivian Yan of Victoria to defeat a duo from New Brunswick 21-17, 21-18.
Placed in a four-team group for the second round, Team B.C. was again undefeated, with Hsu competing in two of the three wins. He was paired with Vanora Lo of Vancouver in a mixed double match against Nova Scotia, then was with Christin Tsai against Manitoba, winning both contests in straight sets.
Saturday night鈥檚 semifinal saw Hsu and Clinton Wong battle from behind for a 14-21, 21-19, 21-18 victory over a Quebec pair in a 3-0 Team B.C. win.B.C. was edged 3-2 by Ontario in the gold medal match, with Hsu losing his first match of the week. Teamed with Wong in a match that would decide the gold, they won the first game 21-16, then dropped two in a row 14-21, 11-21.
