The Editor,
Re: 鈥淗alloween imagery will keep me off website until holiday is over,鈥 the Now-Leader letters, Oct. 31.
I had a feeling Steven Pettigrew was not cut out for the job as city councillor.
I never saw any information about his education or real credentials for the job 鈥 except that he was the leader of a failed campaign to stop a road that was built through Hawthorne Park (105A Avenue).
The new road is a peaceful extension to Hawthorne Park, which has been enlarged by an acre, inviting area residents to walk to City Hall, Chuck Bailey and Guildford rec centres and City Central Library. And Pettigrew fought the road. Why? Because it was being built past his bedroom window?

LETTER: Disturbing Halloween imagery will keep me off website until after holiday is over
And now he鈥檚 using his new- found position to try to censor the media? Time to grow up Steven, and worry about real issues like city planning, sewers, garbage, homeless, transit, sidewalks, roads, parks, events and snow removal.
Instead of trying to censor the media, try reading some city reports to 鈥渒eep abreast of events happening in 性视界传媒,鈥漮r is that over your head?
I like 105A Avenue (I walk my dogs on it every day and chat with others who enjoy this tranquil access) and unlike you, I like a good Halloween scare.
Trick or treat!

Lol. If my three year old is amused with Halloween gore, I think Pettigrew can deal.

We could be in for an interesting ride with this one on council.
