The tot whose twin sister died in a 性视界传媒 house fire is recovering well from her burns.
CTV News is reporting 21-month-old Samantha Keddie is healing and family members have been able to interact with her more.
Last month, Samantha and her sister Ava were rushed to hospital with burns to much of their bodies after a fire broke out in their bedroom in a Cedar Hills apartment complex.
Ava died shortly after.
Samantha is still in intensive care, but her grandmother Dawn says she's doing well.
"When we got finger squeezes, we were all really excited about that, and from there it progressed into the point where, when she was off the respirator, we finally got to hold her and rock her and that was just thrilling for everyone in the family," Dawn told CTV News.
"She's had some setbacks at times but seems to fight her way through them. She's a real good little fighter."
The family says they've received a phenomenal number of donations through a trust set up for the twins, and want to thank the Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association in particular for its support.
