A lethal strain of an unknown drug has killed one person and left another in critical condition, prompting New Westminster police to issue an urgent warning.
Both individuals purchased the drug in pill form from the same street drug dealer, police said in a press release Saturday.
鈥淭he community should be concerned,鈥� Sgt. Jeff Scott said.
Police are advising any drug users who don鈥檛 feel well to see medical attention immediately, and call 911.
Meanwhile, police continue to investigate.
