Hope Search and Rescue photos show a long-line rescue they worked on with Chilliwack Search and Rescue on March 19 (left), as well as a ground crew rescue (centre) after spotting footprints in snow from a helicopter (right).

A person and two dogs who had been missing for 48 hours were rescued by Hope and Chilliwack search and rescue teams Tuesday.

The two teams worked together to bring the trio out of an unreported location.

A rescue crew had spotted tracks in some snow from a helicopter, and with that information, the ground search team was able to find them.

Hope Search and Rescue posted the information on their social media channel, along with photos of the rescue, that included Valley Helicopters and the Chilliwack Search and Rescue’s long line rescue.
