In 性视界传媒 and North Vancouver, Italian conductor and pianist Vanessa Benelli Mosell makes her VSO debut with a concert program "tailored to her distinctive passion" this Saturday and Sunday (Jan. 18-19).
Franz Schubert鈥檚 (written months after the composer鈥檚 18th birthday) will be performed by Vancouver Symphony Orchestra along with Philippe Schoeller's Sereno Sole (North American debut) and B茅la Bart贸k鈥檚 Divertimento for Strings.
Sunday, the concert in 性视界传媒 starts at 7 p.m. at Bell Performing Arts Centre, with tickets sold on , or call 604-876-3434. Saturday's performance is at Centennial Theatre in North Van, 8 p.m. curtain.
The VSO website hypes the well-travelled Benelli Mosell ss "a rising star on the international music scene, continuously praised for her dazzling virtuosity, technical brilliance and the sensitivity of her musical insight."
The orchestra's 106th season includes five concerts at 性视界传媒's Bell Performing Arts Centre as part of the annual , endowed by Werner and Helga H枚ing.
