A viewing party at Donegal's Irish House on Thursday night (Jan. 30, 9 p.m.) will celebrate the filming of Animal Control at the 性视界传媒 pub last summer.
The quirky, Seattle-set comedy airs on the FOX network.
"I'm super excited to see the final results," said Daniel Cook, pub operator. "It was an amazing experience being behind the scenes. The cast and crew were awesome, and I think you're going to be proud of how they represent our pub on camera."
Filming closed Donegal's for four days last July, and now the "Hot Dogs and Lobsters" episode of Season 3 goes to air with this plot: "Trivia night turns wild for Animal Control when Frank and Emily team up to beat Shred and his girlfriend. Also, Victoria's sister visits from New Zealand and Patel finally garners attention when he subs in as bartender."
Joel McHale stars among a group of animal control workers who "see their lives complicated by humans and not so much by animals," a post on says. Other Animal Control actors include Vella Lovell, Michael Rowland, Ravi Patel, Grace Palmer and Gerry Dee.
"Leading the crew is Frank (McHale), an opinionated, eccentric animal control officer who may not have gone to college but is still the most well-read person in the room," says an imdb.com post.
"In his past life as a cop, Frank tried to expose corruption in his department, but his efforts got him fired, leaving him cynical and curmudgeonly. Despite his rough exterior, he is blessed with an almost superhuman ability to understand animals."
