There is a kind of madness stalking the federal, provincial and municipal halls of power and policy. The manifestation of this dictates that no matter the financial cost, or how overtaxed we become, the maw of the "green" agenda must be fed.
Regardless of whether we, as a nation, contribute less than 1.5 per cent of greenhouse gasses or not, we are forced to forego good services in health care, school availability, infrastructure, affordable housing, social services etc. etc. Canada could sink into the ocean tomorrow without making any difference in the climate, yet our governments persist in "green" taxing us into an ever lower standard of living. This madness must stop.
One of the few ways we have in changing their unsustainable policies is at the ballot box, be it federal, provincial or municipal. Before you vote, consider whether you want more "green" taxes, or return to the standard of life we used to enjoy?
