Long-awaited Breakfast With Santa returns to White Rock Firehall

After a four-year hiatus, holiday staple makes comeback

White Rock firefighters are gearing up to welcome back one of their most-anticipated holiday events: Breakfast With Santa.

The breakfast had been a staple of the Christmas season for nearly two decades when it was sidelined by the pandemic in 2020.

Four years later, the Local 2407 crew is decking the 15315 Pacific Ave. hall to host residents of all ages this Saturday (Dec. 7), from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pancakes, bacon, sausages, coffee and hot cocoa are all on the menu, and the Jolly Ol' Elf will be on-hand for visits and photos. Guests are invited to make a donation to capture the Santa experience with their own cameras or phones.

Cost of the breakfast is $10 at the door. Historically, the occasion has been a bustling one that sees hundreds of meals served up.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities through the White Rock Firefighters Charity Association.
