Whisky, music and ‘Roaring Twenties’ artifacts at museum’s ӽ紫ý Speakeasy

SURREY — An adults-only gathering at ӽ紫ý Museum will feature whisky tastings, music that was first recorded a century ago and an opportunity to explore “a hand-picked array of Roaring Twenties artifacts.”

The $18-per-person event will take place on Thursday evening (June 22, 6:30 to 9 p.m.).

“Whether bootlegger, flapper or shady character, you’ll need a password to enter this speakeasy,” says . “Whiskey tasting, 1920s artifacts and smoky live blues await behind the museum’s closed doors.”

Music will be performed by (online at thegenuinejugband.com), and Mediterranean tapas will be prepped by , a specialty-foods store located on King George Highway.
