Insomnia music festival returns to Tradex on March 22, featuring a long lineup of DJs from around the world.

The masterminds behind some of the biggest EDM hits of the 20th century are coming to Abbotsford, with the Insomnia music festival once again returning to Tradex this March.

This all-ages festival features chart-topping DJs from all over the world and promises to be an unforgettable night of electrifying performances.

Included in the performer lineup this year is Alesso, who made the song "Let Me Go" alongside Hailee Steinfeld, Florida Georgia Line, and Watt. The Swedish DJ has also worked with the likes of Katy Perry, Liam Payne, OneRepublic, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, and many others. Alesso has received multiple International Dance Music Awards for his work, and was even nominated for a Grammy in 2014.

Fellow one-name DJ, Alok, will also be a part of the lengthy Insomnia lineup. He's perhaps best known for his 2016 single "Hear Me Now" and has held the distinct honour of being ranked number four in DJ Mag's list of the best DJs in the world every year since 2021.

KSHMR – while not ranked quite as high on the same list, peaking at 11 in 2021 – is bringing his years of hit-making experience to the Insomnia stage as well. Most people would know him as part of the duo The Cataracs who helped create the late 2000s songs "Like a G6" and "Bass Down Low".

English DJ Ben Nicky has worked with Alok on past songs and the two will once again be working together to entertain the crowd at the upcoming music festival.

Cosmic Gate is a duo of German music producers who reached international success with their 2001 hits "Exploration of Space" and "Fire Wire", with the group rounding out the main stage lineup.

While music lovers of all ages are welcome to attend the event, only those at least 19 years old will be allowed in the VIP section.

Shuttle services will help bring guests to and from Vancouver, Richmond, and Burnaby for an additional price of $26.65 per person, with a pickup time of 6 p.m.

General admission tickets for Insomnia are available for $135 per person and can be purchased at .

Insomnia will take place at Tradex (1190 Cornell St.) on Saturday, March 22. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the music continues through the night, with curfew at 2 a.m.
