A Montreal-based company is looking for anyone who remembers meeting Frank Coons and his 3,900 pound meteorite in 1966.

Kelowna resident Coons found the meteorite in Dawson Creek in 1965.

With the impressive find, Coons bought a bus and toured the large rock up and down Highway 97.

The find brought many excited families out to see it, prompting Coons to set the meteorite on display at the Elk Lodge. Adults paid 50 cents and children 25 cents to take a look with a portion of profits going to the Elk Children Funds.

Intuitive Pictures Productions is looking for anyone who took the time to check out Coons' historic find as they work on a documentary for CBC.

If you remember meeting Coons or his meteorite tour contact Nancy Marcotte at marcottenancy@gmail.com or text her at 514-831-8509.
