Robin Grant

After spending nearly a decade as a journalist in newsrooms across Canada, I moved to Vancouver Island to be near the ocean and mountains. I am deeply passionate about climate and environmental journalism, and I want to use my research skills to explore stories more thoroughly through public documents and access-to-information records. I'm also interested in reporting about crime, cost of living, homelessness, human rights, food security and Indigenous affairs.

My education includes an MA in Journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa. When I'm not in the newsroom chasing stories, I can be found exploring nature by foot, bike or boat.
