I'm a multimedia journalist for the Terrace Standard, a Black Press Media newspaper. I previously worked as a freelancer for news outlets like CBC, The Georgia Straight, Grist, Popular Science, Hakai Magazine, Truthout, The Japan Times, and Mongabay India. I hold an MA in Journalism from Concordia University, and a BA in Communication and Geography from Simon Fraser University.
