Evergreen Line opens on Dec. 2

After years of delay, the $1.42 billion Evergreen Line opened to commuters on Friday, Dec. 2.

Kinder Morgan's Trans Mountain pipeline approved

On Tuesday, the federal government approved the Trans Mountain Pipeline but shot down Enbridge's Northern Gateway. Enbridge's Line 3, in central Canada, was also approved.

Nanaimo mill shooter gets life in prison

Kevin Douglas Addison, 50, was sentenced to life in prison for a 2014 mill shooting where he killed two people. Crown Counsel Scott Van Aistine spoke about the sentencing.

Grannies raise AIDS awareness

The Kelowna Chapter of the Grandmothers of Africa twirled, stomped and raised their hands in the air to the tune of Annie Lenox's Sisters Doin' It For Themselves to remind their community that HIV/AIDS is still an issue.
