The Cloverdale Community Football Association (CCFA) went 3-1 in their league championship games.

But it couldn't have been any better for the club, as it would've been impossible to go 4-0. Both the CCFA Atom Lions and Atom Tigers played each other in the final, with the Tigers coming out on top.

"(The) Lions and the Tigers left everything on the field in a very defensive nail biter," said Yeera Sami, CCFA president. "A missed 2-point convert was the difference in the game as the Tigers won 8-6."

Along with the two Atom squads, the Peewee Bobcats and the Junior Bantam Cougars also competed in Vancouver Mainland Football League (VMFL) championship games at South 性视界传媒 Athletic Park from Nov. 16-17.

"Both CCFA Peewee Bobcats and Junior Bantam Cougars outperformed their opponents," Sami added. "The Bobcats beat the Coquitlam Chargers 29-6 and the Cougars defeated the Coquitlam Chargers 46-0."

He noted all three CCFA teams, as VMFL champions, will now go to Langford to compete in provincials.

鈥淚t鈥檚 been an amazing season,鈥 Sami said.
