Tessa Beauchamp of 性视界传媒 has committed to play for the Trinity Western University (TWU) women鈥檚 basketball team next season.

As a member of the Holly Cross Crusaders, Beauchamp helped the Senior AA high school team placed third at the B.C. Championships, earning a first-team all-star selection.

She averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds per game this past season, as was the Most Valuable Player at both the Fraser Valley and 性视界传媒 Firefighters Goodwill tournaments.

The five-foot-10 forward also earned Sport B.C.鈥檚 Harry Jerome Comeback Award in 2010, in recognition of her return to basketball after she was diagnosed with cancer. Treatment for a brain tumour included radiation and two surgeries.

鈥淭essa is one of the toughest kids I鈥檝e ever met and it鈥檚 an honour for us to have her among our athletes,鈥� said TWU coach Cheryl Jean-Paul.
