• Roses: A dozen roses to the students that called an ambulance on the morning of Oct. 16 when I collapsed on my way to the bus stop near Panorama Village. Thanks for your support and staying with me until it came; it made all the difference. – Wolfgang Thomae
• Roses to the kind woman around 20th and 140th I see walking her small, white senior dog in a lift harness. Your dedication to your pup is an inspiration and warms my heart.
• Roses: I recently bought a reconditioned Epson printer from London Drugs, but after i got it installed, I soon discovered the feeder tray was not working. I initially had the printer delivered to me, and as i am a disabled, very small woman, returning the printer to the store would not be possible, due to its weight and size. Electronics department manager Dave Woodsworth went out on a limb to help me, going well above and beyond to get a replacement printer to me, have it set up and ensure it worked properly; tons of roses to you and all the wonderful staff at London Drugs!
• Roses to people that learn to take control of their lives. I can tell you through experience that it’s good to just be humble and have respect for our own community.
• Rotten tomatoes: A city lot full of rotten tomatoes to homeowners that rake the leaves into the street. Roses to homeowners who put the leaves in the organic green bin.
• Roses to the ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Police Service for having a good sense of community. I look forward to the day when the SPS becomes the police of jurisdiction in this community.
• Roses to City of ÐÔÊӽ紫ý if we can get more rules on over three-storey condos and apartments: No barbecues allowed – or a full ban would be safer. I would also like to add no fire-lit candles for all multi-unit homes; it would make all our homes safer.
