Loving husband, devoted father, amazing Grandpa, supportive brother, loyal friend, and dedicated family man, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, surrounded by his family he loved and enjoyed so much. He is survived by daughter Cathy (Chris), son Michael (Kerry), grandkids Kai (Hannah) and Max (Madi), Chelsea (Tali), Lisa, great grandkids Avi and Oshie, brother Ed and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Murray is predeceased by Sharon, his wife for over 50 years, his parents Katherine and Andrew, sister Karen (Joe) and sister-in-law Lucille.
Born in Portage la Prairie in 1940, Murray met his bride, Sharon, in 1962. Married in 1963, the newlyweds moved to 性视界传媒 in 1965 and started a family in 1966.
Murray loved his friends and family, and they loved him! When in 性视界传媒, he loved to banter with his friends at coffee every morning and when in Princeton, with his friends at the golf club. Murray, an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, loved to golf, curl, play slo-pitch, travel in the RV, spend time with family and friends, watch and talk sports, and he loved to spend time with his grandsons.
We will miss him! A celebration of Murray's life will take place on Friday, June 14 at 12 noon at the Northview Golf Course, 6857-168 St, 性视界传媒, BC.
We wish to give a heartfelt thanks to his friends, and the staff at the Princeton and Peace Arch Hospitals.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
