With sadden hearts, clinging to God's immense hope and peace; we announce that on September 5th, 2019, Fred Wilhelm Seidel, loving husband and father, quietly passed away.
Fred courageously battled both cancer and Parkinson's disease for the past year and a half after a life well lived and full of joy and devotion to his family, friends, and his Lord. Fred has been described by the many who knew him as a gracious and generous soul who above all, loved his family
and his Saviour. A kind and gentle character, instilled with a wry sense
of humour, he was someone that could always be counted on when needed. Fred is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years Linda, his two children; Ken (Tami) Corinne (Henry), his beloved grandchildren; Brennan, Taylor, Jordan, Karsten (Taylor), Shaylene, his two brothers; Rudy (Anita) Manfred.
A celebration of life will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 22680 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC, on September 26th at 1:00 pm.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Union Gospel Mission in Vancouver.
