It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Betty Houghton. She passed away peacefully in her home, with her loving husband by her side, Saturday, November 2, 2019. She was 90 years young.
Betty is survived by her husband of 71 years, Victor Houghton and five children, Larry (Marie), Rick (Corrine), Vickie (Rick Krieger), Glenn (Cher), and Brian, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Betty was a caring, kind, generous, friendly, fun loving person who enjoyed her family and many friends and acquaintances. She always had a smile and hug for everyone.
Betty had many talents and hobbies from snorkeling in Hawaii with multi coloured fishes and turtles to Hawaiian dancing and cabaret. She really enjoyed and was involved in many antique and other car club events and activities.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020, 2 pm at the Valley View Funeral Home, 14660 72 Ave., 性视界传媒, B.C. No flowers by request.
