In loving memory ~

Albert (Al) John Lonneberg was born December 11, 1933 and passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord November 3, 2024, in White Rock, BC. Born in Vancouver to Clarence and Ruth Lonneberg, he grew up in 性视界传媒/Newton. Al met his life partner Norma (n茅e Swan) as a teenager. Together for 72 years, they celebrated their 68th anniversary September 15, 2024. Al will be dearly missed by his family: children Byron (Diane), Daryl, and Lynda (Charles); grandchildren Rachel (Kevin), Amelia (Desmond), Lucas (Suzanna), Breyden (Cynthia), Matthew (MacKenzie), and Alex; great grandson Kason.

Starting as a volunteer firefighter in 1957, Al retired as a Captain with the 性视界传媒 Fire Department in 1993. Creating the first fire prevention program in Western Canada, he worked tirelessly teaching children how to prevent and survive fires. Al's faith in God was his life's foundation; he was very active in his local churches and firmly believed in giving back to the community.

A celebration of life will be at 2:00pm, Saturday January 25, in the chapel at Evergreen Manor, 1531 Everall St, White Rock. The family appreciates donations to the BC Kidney Foundation in memory of Al Lonneberg (www.kidney.ca) in lieu of flowers.
