Suspect bites woman on head, spits on Mission police officer

Mission RCMP recommending multiple charges after incident near local fast food restaurant

A woman allegedly bit another woman before kicking and spitting on a police officer near the Lougheed Highway and Haig Street intersection on Dec. 15.

A woman was arrested after biting another woman in the head near a Mission fast-food restaurant on Sunday (Dec. 15). 

According to a Mission RCMP news release, the victim was approached by an unknown woman after midnight in the parking lot of the restaurant on Lougheed Highway and Haig Street. 

Police say the attacker pulled the victim鈥檚 hair and bit her head. 

The victim sought help from police and saw the offender nearby while the officer was gathering information. 

During the subsequent arrest, RCMP say the woman kicked and spit on the officer. 

Police are recommending charges of assault and assaulting a police officer against the woman.
