The unveiling of the carving was just one of many events happening throughout the Thanksgiving long weekend in Hope as Rambo fans took in the four-day long event celebrating of the 40th anniversary of the release of Rambo First Blood.

The movie was filmed in Hope in 1981 and released on Oct. 22, 1982.
