A 44-year-old Agassiz man reported missing on Nov. 10 has tragically been found deceased.
Bradley Werbowski went missing in mid-November during a fishing trip along the Chehalis River. Werbowski did not report back to his vehicle as expected that evening.
Kent-Harrison Search and Rescue searched the area in four operational periods, by foot, raft and by air along the trail and bush where Werbowski was last seen. One week after the search was suspended, he was found downstream from the point where he was last seen.
The Agassiz RCMP do not consider the death to be suspicious.
A is still up and running to support Werbowski's wife and two children during this difficult time. As of Tuesday morning, $41,000 of the $50,000 goal has been raised.
