A fog advisory is in effect on Tuesday morning (Dec. 3) for Metro Vancouver and parts of the Fraser Valley.
The advisory from Environment Canada says a dense fog in areas of Metro Vancouver and near Mission will slowly lift late this morning.
"A ridge of high pressure over southern B.C. is creating favourable conditions for the development of low cloud and dense fog," the advisory reads.
Environment Canada expects hazardous travel due to reduced visibility.
"If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance," the advisory states.
