With a lifelong passion for cars, Ramil Reyes had long dreamed of one day opening his own mechanic shop.

Ramil鈥檚 roots in the industry reach back 25 years, when he started working in his first shop in the Philippines at age 22.

鈥淚 really enjoy working with the public and I love working with cars,鈥� says Ramil, who has worked extensively in the Lower Mainland鈥檚 auto industry over the years.

Today, as he welcomes the community to his own , he looks forward to sharing that passion with son Ian, who joins the team at the shop on weekends while he finishes his education and training.

鈥淚 had always wanted to open my own shop, and as I saw my son becoming so enthusiastic about cars, I wanted to have a business I could pass along to him one day,鈥� says Ramil, who with friend and business partner Froilan Alejo purchased and re-branded the longstanding shop under the Big O Tires banner in November.
