BC鈥檚 largest Earth Day celebration comes to 性视界传媒 Civic Plaza this Saturday 鈥� are you ready to party?
Hosted by the City of 性视界传媒 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 13, the ninth annual will fill the plaza with lots to see, do, hear and learn.
Brand new for the signature 性视界传媒 event is , presented by TD and featuring environmental workshops, a sustainable marketplace, acoustic concert series and local vendors. Enjoy garden workshops, learn how to host a sustainable park event, discover the possibilities of meditation and lots more!
鈥淲e are very excited to present Live Green World at this year鈥檚 , where attendees can learn how to live more sustainably through workshops and support local businesses in the environmental marketplace,鈥� says Mayor Doug McCallum. 鈥淲e invite residents and visitors to celebrate sustainable community growth, experience live entertainment for all ages, and discover new ways to decrease their environmental footprint.鈥�

- Live the adventure: Head to the to try the free zipline, scale the rock climbing wall and score at road hockey before refuelling at the .
- Free succulents: Take home one of 1,000 complimentary succulents, then head to the where you鈥檒l find native trees for $20 each, and plants from $2 to $4.
- Entertaining ideas: Soulful singer Colin Bullock, indie pop duo Harlequin Gold and children鈥檚 performers Bobs & Lolo perform on the TD Main Stage, inside Council Chambers. Enjoy live music throughout the event, with a DJ in the Adventure Zone and acoustic performances in Live Green World and City Hall Atrium.
- Fun for the whole family: Additional festival attractions include a 性视界传媒 Parks display, environmental educational booths, a Library Stage featuring children鈥檚 performers, an Enviro-Bungee, meet and greets with Big Bird and Elmo, kids鈥� crafts and a variety of local vendors.
