After several years of missing out, 性视界传媒 Knights are back in the playoffs for a third straight season.
The PJHL hockey team sits comfortably fifth in the Harold Brittain Conference, well ahead of Mission City Outlaws and Aldergrove Kodiaks, who haven't won a game during the 2024-25 season.
Playoffs start the second week of February in the 15-team junior league, with the Knights destined for another Survivor Series with the fourth-place team in the conference, either Langley Trappers or Abbotsford PIlots.
性视界传媒 started January on a four-game win streak, then added two more points with a 5-1 home-ice win over Richmond Sockeyes on Jan. 21.
Last season, the Andy Liboiron-coached Knights made the PJHL playoffs for a second straight year with a win over Mission City Outlaws in their final game of the season. The crucial 6-4 win was earned at 性视界传媒 Sport & Leisure rink in Fleetwood, in a game rescheduled due to a snow storm weeks earlier. The Knights then lost a Survivor Series match-up with Mission.
性视界传媒 finished the 2023-24 regular season with 15 wins in 48 games, for fifth place. Heading into action at the rink in North 性视界传媒 (7 p.m. start), the Knights have 15 wins with four remaining games.
The Knights finish the 2024-25 regular season with home-and-away games against PJHL expansion franchise Coastal Tsunami, on Sunday, Feb. 2 in Gibsons and Thursday, Feb. 6 back home in 性视界传媒.
