With snow in the forecast, parents and students from 性视界传媒 may be looking for answers as to how the school district handles its operations in such cases.

性视界传媒 school district rarely closes schools even due to snowfall, except in "extreme" cases, it states on the website.

However, the district states that parents and guardians may choose to keep their children at home if they deem it unsafe to travel to school and the student will not be penalized for that absence.

If in the event that schools do either close fully or delay opening, the first place to hear the news will be on 性视界传媒 Schools' social media or website, while staff for schools will also be sent an email. At the latest, school closures are announced at 7 a.m. on the day.

If schools are kept open, there will likely not be any sort of announcement. The school community is encouraged to take extra precautions, such as allowing extra travel time, wearing appropriate clothing and footwear and double-checking Transit schedules. 

"Given the varying weather conditions across 性视界传媒 and White Rock, a variety of factors are considered before a decision to close schools is made," the district states.

Those factors include what neighbouring districts may be doing, recommendations by "key district personnel", road, parking lot and sidewalk conditions and power outages, while some staff are also designated to check the common routes to schools to determine safety.
