Metro Vancouver Transit Police (MVTP) have arrested two ÐÔÊӽ紫ý boys for attempted robbery, and now want to speak to the unidentified young person whose headphones were targeted on an August evening.
The crime happened just before 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, on a platform at ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Central SkyTrain Station.
The teens grabbed the victim’s shoulder and face, allegedly attempting to steal headphones, according to a .
"The teens were unsuccessful and boarded a train to Scott Road Station where they then boarded a bus."
The suspects were tracked down and arrested, but the victim left the scene before police arrived. "We are asking them to call police so we can advance the investigation," MVTP says.

The two suspects – boys 15 and 17 years of age, both from ÐÔÊӽ紫ý – can't be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. They were found to have breached several court-imposed conditions and in possession of ID not belonging to them, according to MVTP.
"They have been charged with one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, three counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order and 13 counts of Fail to Comply with Sentence. Both suspects are well known to police and are currently being held in the custody awaiting their upcoming court appearance."
