A "possible bear spray" incident occurred at Guildford Town Centre on Thursday night (Dec. 5).
Police suspect some youth discharged the bear spray near the food court.
A shopper who asked not to be named told the 性视界传媒 Now-Leader that they were at the mall around 6 p.m. when the suspected bear spray was released. They said they were dizzy, nauseous and have had a "sore chest since the incident."
The individual who filed the complaint with the police did not witness the incident but had overheard "others saying that鈥檚 what happened," SPS spokesman Ian MacDonald said.
The Now-Leader has reached out to Guildford Town Centre for comment.
No suspects or witnesses were located, according to police.
