Highway 99 between Highway 91 and King George Blvd opened in all directions around noon Friday.
Closures were in effect after a multi-vehicle crash during the Thursday night rush hour sent five people to hospital.
Highway 99 was re-opened northbound around 10 a.m. Friday (Dec. 13). Southbound Highway 99 between Highway 91 and King George Boulevard, opened around 12:40, DriveBC reported.

BCEHS spokesperson Bowen Osoko said an air ambulance helicopter and seven ambulances responded to the scene.
鈥淧aramedics provided emergency medical treatment to seven patients. Five patients were transported to hospital, three in stable condition and two in critical condition,鈥 Osoko said.
"The highway will likely be closed for a few hours as 性视界传媒 Fire Service assists at the scene and officers investigate the collision," noted Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton in an SPS news release Thursday evening.
A Black Press freelancer at the scene said it appeared that the crash involved a semi hauling a flatbed trailer that was travelling northbound. It is suspected that the semi crossed the centre median and collided with several other vehicles including another semi.
鈥淎s the semi crossed the centre median it pulled the cable barrier, in place to prevent such cross-over head-on collisions, into the southbound lanes, tangling it with multiple vehicles and putting it under extreme tension,鈥 noted the freelancer.
Video from the scene showed several vehicles on their side and one had rolled onto its roof. Fire crews had to use the jaws of life to access some of the people trapped in the cars.
RCMP 性视界传媒 Provincial Operations Support Unit officers, BC Emergency Health Services paramedics, 性视界传媒 Fire Service firefighters, Delta Police Department officers, and Mainroad staff provided "significant response and assistance" at the scene, an SPS update on Thursday evening noted.
