Looking for a little holiday sparkle? We asked for reader suggestions of the best Christmas light displays in our neighbourhoods. Here are some of their (and our) favourites so far.

• 9277 132 St., ÐÔÊӽ紫ý: The George Family lights are back. "Every year our lights get bigger and better. The lights dance to music. You might even see the Grinch in the truck and Santa in the window. The lights are on from 5 p.m. to 1 am. and people are allowed to walk around the yard," the family writes.
• 14380 66 Ave., ÐÔÊӽ紫ý: The Joyce Family Christmas Light Display is set to dazzle."This year's advent themed display has over 20,000 lights, which are on nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. into the New Year, and we are accepting donations for Cloverdale Community Kitchen," the family writes.
• 8483 152A St., ÐÔÊӽ紫ý: Watch for the sparkle of the Slaghts' bright lights.
• 7359 194A St., ÐÔÊӽ紫ý: The street is aglow from the array of lights at 7359 194A St.
• 138 Street and 70 Avenue, ÐÔÊӽ紫ý: Catch the lights from 3 to 11 p.m. every day into January, at the corner of 138 Street and 70 Avenue. The light display wraps around the corner, and the lights are in sync with music.
• 15097 90A Ave., ÐÔÊӽ紫ý: From Dec. 1 to Jan. 1, every night from 6 to 10 p.m., you may walk through or just drive past to enjoy the over 5,000 lights. Bring the kids and see the North Pole right here in ÐÔÊӽ紫ý. Also take in the Nativity scene. On Dec. 21 in the evening 6 and 9 p.m., Santa and friends will be on site to visit. There will be candy canes for the kids and coffee for the grownups. "We hope to see you all at Art & Lou's Christmas Lights," writes the homeowner.
• 163A and 12B Avenue: "This cul-de-sac has many Christmas lights – pretty much all the houses put up displays," writes a resident. "It must be seen."
• Northpark Cresent, ÐÔÊӽ紫ý: "Northpark Cresent in Boundary Park has a pretty good multi-family neighbourhood Xmas light display," writes one resident.
• 11804 91st Ave., North Delta (just off Scott Road and 92 Avenue): The Changs have been annually putting up their display in North Delta for 25 years. The family writes: "A North Delta favourite and a generational tradition with many families. Our display has been an award winner in past years. We have many colourful lights and giant displays, new this year is our 20-foot reindeer. Festive music and movies on the big screen. Candy Cane Lane is a favourite with the kids with free candy canes. Food collections and donations accepted for Nick's Nook for Food Insecurities." They're a participant in the North Delta United Way Christmas Scavenger Hunt. The display goes on everyday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. (weather permitting).
• 9136 118th St., North Delta: The Gill Family returns with their 2024 light display, adding dazzle to their corner lot.
• Delview Park neighbourhood, North Delta: While in the area to see the Chang and Gill families' displays, be sure to explore the neighbourhood's various through-roads and cul-de-sacs to find several spectacular light shows: 9067, 9127 and 9176 118th St.; 11855 90th Ave.; 11764, 11774, 11784 and 11824 91st Ave.; 11773 Fern Way and 9022 Fircrest Dr., to name a few.
• 10655 Ramona Way, North Delta: The Olsens' 2024 display features approximately 26,000 lights, several projections, helpful(?) skeletons, Santa and the Grinch. Come look around, and be sure to watch for Marley’s ghost, Santa flying with his reindeer, Santa in his workshop, elves in the toy room and more. The Olsens are also accepting both cash and QR code donations to the ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Food Bank.
• 11423 Heath Cres., North Delta: The Bihal residence is lit up for the season.
• 7849 Bremridge Dr., North Delta: This house has a display set to music.
