TEDxÐÔÊӽ紫ý is now widely recognized as one of the premier TEDx events in Canada, according to Alan Warburton, licensee and curator.

"TEDxÐÔÊӽ紫ý has had an exceptional year in 2024," he told the Now-Leader. "We had 15 speakers at our two events (the main event and one Salon), and seven of those speakers were recognized by TED for the outstanding quality of their talks. Considering that the possibility of an individual speaker achieving this level of success is significantly less than one per cent makes it all the more remarkable."

Collectively, Warburton noted, videos of the speakers at the 2024 TEDxÐÔÊӽ紫ý have received close to three million views since they were published six months ago.

"Both and have been recognized on TED.com, which is the highest accolade that a TEDx speaker can receive," Warburton explained. "In July, Mollie Kaye’s video () had the highest number of views of all TEDx events worldwide."
