Just another nail in the coffin of what little trust I have in the sanctity of democracy.

A recent article about allegations of serious voting irregularities in the last provincial election warrant further investigation by an unbiased arm's-length body.

An NDP-funded drug rehabilitation shelter had a large percentage of its residents receiving mail-in ballots without directly requesting them? Given that some of the residents were (reportedly) told to mark an 鈥淴鈥� on the ballot and had no understanding of what was happening is beyond problematic. It鈥檚 criminal.

Given that the election night results in that riding were overturned by mail-in ballots and the NDP candidate ended up 鈥渨inning鈥� by about the same number of votes mailed in by the 鈥渃ivic-minded鈥� residents from just that one rehabilitation centre does raise questions.

In fact, it鈥檚 amazing that the voting turnout from this one centre was considerably higher than that of the taxpaying population.

Something stinks here.
