One person is dead and two are in critical condition following a fire at 32203 Pineview Avenue on Thursday (June 20).
The BC Corners Service confirmed to The News that they are investigating the scene following a death.

Six people escaped the fire, but a videographer on scene earlier today told The News that the coroner retrieved a body on-site. More to come
The City of Abbotsford stated that Abbotsford Fire Rescue Services received a call about the fire at around 6 a.m. on Thursday. Crews arrived to find a large volume of smoke and fire coming from the back of the house.
They said that AFRS were able to pull all six occupants out of the house and they received care from BC Ambulance Service and will be receiving assistance from Emergency Support Services. Three of those occupants were transported to the hospital immediately, with two occupants declining care.
The fire was fully extinguished and all other surrounding buildings were protected. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Abbotsford Police Department remains on the scene investigating. The house did have a rezoning sign on its front yard.
