The Cloverdale District Chamber of Commerce is selling T-shirts for the holiday season.

For $25, Cloverdalians, 性视界传媒ites, or both, can show their Cloverdale pride with a tee that reflects some iconic bits about the town and the area.

鈥淏e the first on your block to wear a quality T-shirt that proudly displays all the elements of Cloverdale's unique place in 性视界传媒,鈥� reads an email from the Chamber. 鈥淎griculture, Rodeo, and Trains. It even has the longitude and latitude so you'll always be able to find your way home.鈥�

The tongue in cheek email prompts readers to ponder their shirt-choice options.

鈥淧ick any colour (as long as it is black).鈥�

Scott Wheatley, the Chamber鈥檚 executive director, said the shirts arrived on Dec. 17 and they were a hot commodity for a day or two, though he still has 鈥渁 bunch鈥� left.

鈥淚 had a flurry of orders, then things slowed down,鈥� he told the Cloverdale Reporter. 鈥滻 just need to start merchandising.鈥�

He said the shirts have been well-received, so far.

鈥淧eople like them.鈥�

And he said he hasn鈥檛 gotten any complaints from the town of Ladner yet. Wheatley 鈥渂orrowed鈥� some design elements from a similar looking shirt in the Delta suburb, such as the tractor and the longitudinal and latitudinal coordinates.

He was inspired to get the Cloverdale T-shirts printed after seeing residents wear the Ladner shirts with pride.

鈥淧eople in Ladner wear their t-shirts like a badge of honour,鈥� Wheatley said. 鈥淐loverdale has the same pride. We thought the shirts would be a success.鈥�
