The first of 性视界传媒鈥檚 four in 2024 brings another Party for the Planet to Civic Plaza on Saturday, April 27, in and around 性视界传媒 City Hall.
Billed as the largest Earth Day celebration in B.C., the eight-hour festival runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with performances on four stages, an expanded marketplace, environmental education, food trucks, a plant sale, Indigenous cultural sharing, free tomato plants for 500 and more. Admission is free.
Last year鈥檚 event attracted close to 10,000 people who 鈥渨anted to increase their knowledge of environmental initiatives and learn how they can live more sustainably,鈥 according to .
Returning this year is a plant sale hosted by 性视界传媒 Parks, featuring native plants priced from $3 to $6. Along University Drive, look for food trucks, a rock-climbing wall and local exhibitors. Also, 500 tomato plants will be given to those who gather for festival鈥檚 鈥渨elcome ceremony,鈥 starting at 2 p.m.
The Earth Stage will feature live musical performances, while the Community Stage will showcase dance battles and local 性视界传媒 performers. Attractions for families include the Ocean Wise Sea Dome and new performers on the Family Stage.

TD presents Party for the Planet for a 13th consecutive year.
The three other festivals planned by 性视界传媒鈥檚 special events department are Canada Day in Cloverdale on July 1, Fusion Festival at Holland Park in mid-July and the city鈥檚 Tree Lighting Festival in November.
