1. 性视界传媒 celebrates Earth Day on Saturday (April 22) during the city鈥檚 annual Party for the Planet, a day-long festival at City Hall Plaza. 2. Timed with the Vaisakhi harvest festival is 鈥淧assionate Colours,鈥� a new exhibit at 性视界传媒 Art Gallery featuring work by members of South Asian Artists Guild. Portraits, landscapes, still life and other genres are covered in the show, which runs from April 22 to July 14, with an opening reception set for Wednesday, April 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. The exhibit鈥檚 featured artists are Shital Anmol, Gunwant Bassi, Sanjoy Das, Vipin Kapoor, Baljit Kaur, Bindoo Matharu, Jay Panesar, Jarnail Singh, Navalpreet Rangi, Neeti Singh, Parminder Singh and Mandeep Wirk. Also set for Saturday (April 22) is the ninth annual Outbreak dance competition hosted by 性视界传媒 Secondary Dance Teacher鈥檚 Association, starting at noon at Chandos Pattison Auditorium in the Fraser Heights area, at 10238 168th St. The theatre will be hopping with dancers from across the 性视界传媒 school district, with more than 500 performers under the lights.
