1. Bring a blanket or lawnchair, grab some free popcorn and settle in for Lego Batman, first up in the Movies Under the Stars series this month at Holland Park. The event on Saturday (Aug. 5) kicks off at 5 p.m. with some pre-movie festivities, hosted by Downtown ÐÔÊӽ紫ý BIA. While you’re there, help support local charities by purchasing hot dogs and other snacks from the North ÐÔÊӽ紫ý Lions Club. Look for more event details at .

2. Reggae music will be pumping on Sunday afternoon (Aug. 6) during the 16th annual , also held at Holland Park. The event will feature live music by Jahranimo and Boomdaddy, DJs, a domino tournament, soccer, a KidZone and more. 3. Want to see the inner workings of ÐÔÊӽ紫ý City Hall? Jump aboard a free tour of the six-storey building on Tuesday, Aug. 8, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., as a guide leads people through the 180,000-square-foot structure, at 13450 104th Ave. The tour will include a stroll through council chambers, details about the dual-purpose theatre and a look at the city’s Traffic Management Centre.
