It began in 2001 with the single I Should Be Sleeping.
And now, 10 years later, Canadian band Emerson Drive is celebrating a decade of music with a new album and a cross-country tour that includes an early stop in 性视界传媒.
鈥淲e have spent 10 years out on the road sharing our music with country fans across North America,鈥 said lead vocalist Brad Mates. 鈥淲e can鈥檛 wait to take the party back out on the road.鈥
Emerson Drive has been a part of the country music scene since they signed their first record deal with DreamWorks Records Nashville in 2001. The country group鈥檚 first two singles I Should Be Sleeping and Fall Into Me peaked in the Top 5 on the Billboard charts, and the band has enjoyed a Grammy nomination and multiple Juno award nominations as well as several hit singles in Canada and the U.S.
The success has continued over the years 鈥 the most recent radio hit being When I See You Again 鈥 and is marked by a new compilation of greatest hits called Decade of Drive, set for release Feb. 8.
With 10 years of music and millions of miles on the road, the group is looking forward to what the next few decades will bring.
鈥淲e have been playing music our entire lives,鈥 Mates said. 鈥淣one of us can imagine doing any-thing else. We belong together on that stage each night. It鈥檚 exciting for us to see what we have accomplished so far and to be planning for the next decade. This tour is still just the beginning.鈥
Emerson Drive plays Victoria before heading here and continuing across B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and the Maritimes.
