The full lineup for this fall's Barnside Harvest Festival is out now, and features a Saturday afternoon performance by Hollywood actor Billy Bob Thornton and his band, The Boxmasters.
The three-day festival returns to Ladner's Paterson Park Sept. 13-15 with three stages of live music, a kids zone, a market featuring more than 100 artisan vendors and food trucks, and a site-wide liquor licence.
Headliners at the second annual festival include Canadian rock bands The Glorious Sons, Sam Roberts Band, Loverboy, The Trews, Sloan and Wide Mouth Mason, with three dozen other acts set to perform.
Last year鈥檚 inaugural festival attracted more than 23,400 ticket-holders to the park, located at the intersection of highways 10 and 17A (5800 Clarence Taylor Cres.).
鈥淲e鈥檙e thrilled that Barnside Harvest Festival was so well received by our community, so we鈥檙e pleased to bring this vibrant music festival experience back to Paterson Park,鈥 Ken Malenstyn, general manager of Barnside Brewing Co., said in a news release.
鈥淭hanks to the tremendous support from the City of Delta, city staff and the many sponsors and community organizations,鈥 Malenstyn added. 鈥淲e鈥檙e excited for the new lineup and look forward to promoting Delta鈥檚 agricultural heritage and celebrating the harvest of locally grown food with music, food, fun and, of course, farm-fresh beer.鈥
