White Rock Pride Society donated $15,000 for local 2SLGBTQ+ youth at Alex House's Youth Space.

鈥淲ith this donation we will continue to be able to provide the Rainbow Youth within our community with a place to come and be able to be surrounded by fellow Rainbow Community their age and older who not only respect but also support their right to represent and live their authentic selves.鈥�, Youth Space's Rainbow Connection staff member Joanne Al Marashli said in a press release.

The donation was made on Nov. 21 which the society was "honoured" to give.

The Rainbow Youth group in turn presented the White Rock Pride Society with artwork acknowledging their support.

The White Rock Pride Society is thankful to all those who attended the Love is Love Gala, and to all 2024 Pride Week sponsors for making this donation possible, it shared in the release.

All 2SLGBTQ+ young people are welcome to be a part of this "incredible" program, the organization states.
